I have been receiving child support payments from Cox Communication (dad’s employer) which is then sent to the state and then me for the past 9 years without too much trouble other then the time delay. I have recently been informed that Cox Communications is now using a company called ADP to handle their wage garnishments. I called the company whose customer service is located in India and they were no help whatsoever! They say they have already forwarded the money to the state and yet the state says they have not received it. I don’t believe something as important as child support should be outsourced.

The Administrative Garnishment Orders are not specific on what an order is for, so ADP cannot predetermine what will be stopped.
